Great race. If my math is correct they drove the equivalent of Portland Oregon to New York city. Hell of a drive.

That race was really good from start to finish. I only missed some last night cause I had to work (4pm - 8pm). I stayed up all night watching it. I’m sad Delta Wing did not finish well, they where going strong yesterday. The Ford GT was a disappointment, they hyped it all up on how great it was but it did not perform well. Hey thats racing. Holy hell that last 10 minutes made up for all the let downs. Time to get some sleep.

The Ford GT was always going to have teething problems - any new race car that performs flawlessly at its first real race is a product of witchcraft. I’m optimistic they can make it more reliable since I really want to see the Fords fighting with the Corvettes and 911s.

Deltawing was my biggest heartbreak of the race - Legge was driving her heart out in her first (and only) stint. It was looking so strong and I was confident of a podium finish. Hopefully this is just a taste of what is to come.

I’ve never paid much attention to sportscar racing outside of WEC races, but the few hours I managed to watch were great fun. They’ve got me now.

Yes it very much was! I tried to stay up all night but missed 2am to 8am. Deltawing was doing really well until that unfortunate accident. Hopefully the Ford team is able to fix their problems as their car was incredibly fast when it was working. And yes that final 30 min had all of the drama and action I expected from this race.

I was really looking forward to the Deltawing doing well. Sadly I don’t think it can run next year, so hopefully better results this year!

I drank lots of coffee to get through the night. I enjoyed watching the night racing more then the day time.

I probably would have done the same, as I enjoy the night racing as well, if it weren’t for college and early morning classes.
